Our team

Our team of vets and nurses have trained hard to be the best in our fields, and we continue to maintain and expand our knowledge and skills at every opportunity.

Dr Bethany Hooper – Lead Veterinarian (B.V.Sc)

I have always loved animals and knew I wanted to be a vet when I was 5. To me, pets are not just animals – they are members of our family.

Dr Roslyn Nichol – Veterinarian (B.V.Sc)

I’m one of those people who decided in primary school that they wanted to be a vet! After graduation, I worked in rural Victoria then in a mixed animal practice in the UK before coming back to Melbourne.

Dr Hannah Clifton – Veterinarian
(BSc, DVM)

Our pets are integral family members. I have a cheeky, spoiled 12-year-old Maltese x Shih Tzu, Baku, so I understand how incredibly special the human-animal bond is.

Dr Elicia Cheah – Veterinarian (BSC DVM)

Hi, I’m Elicia, and I’m originally from Malaysia! I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2021, and joined Dr Paws Altona North in February 2022. While I was in high school, I decided to combine my love for medicine and animals, which naturally led me to become a vet.

As a pet owner myself, I’m fully aware of the role that pets play in our everyday life and I believe that every pet deserves the best standards of care. I’m also passionate about educating pet owners and working with them to promote their pets’ health and wellbeing.

Dr Natasha Tan – Veterinarian (BSC DVM)

Hi, I’m Natasha. I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2024 and joined Dr Paws Altona North in February 2025 as a new graduate veterinarian.

As a pet owner myself, I understand how important our pets are as a member of our family and the joy and comfort that they bring to our everyday lives. I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with both my patients and clients with the aim of being your pet’s family vet. I also aim to create a positive and low stress environment for you and your pet’s visit whilst providing a high standard of care.

In my spare time, I am either curled up at home with a book and my two rescue cats, Stone and Pebble, exploring new restaurants and cafes or spending quality time with loved ones.

Natasha Macadam – Practice Manager & Senior Veterinary Nurse

I have been lucky enough to have worked within the animal industry since 2015. I completed my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2017, and have been successfully pursuing my career in nursing ever since! My fur-children Duck & Wolf are my pride and joys, but nothing makes my day more than seeing your pet excited to greet me in the clinic!

Hayley Reynolds – Head Veterinary Nurse

Growing up all I can remember is my love for animals; being able to help nurture animals is truly a blessing to be able to do each day.

Brittany Hanegraaf –  Veterinary Nurse

I have always had a love for animals, as well as a passion for their health and wellbeing, so I always aspired to pursue my passion by gaining a career within the animal care industry.

Lauren Love –  Veterinary Nurse

Since a young age, I knew I wanted to work with animals. Since starting working in the veterinary field, I have fallen more in love with them. When I’m not in the clinic, I am spending time with my couch potato Greyhound, Billie and my 2 horses King and Kit. Safe to say that my world is animal driven!

Jasmine Trifilo – Veterinary Nurse

As a vet nurse, working with animals is a calling that fills your heart with purpose. The joy of seeing a sick pet recover and witnessing the gratitude of their owner’s is a constant reminder of why I chose this deeply warming profession.

Elizabeth Roberts – Veterinary Nurse

Ever since I was little I have always wanted to be in the animal industry. Our animals are an important part of our family that we always love and cherish.
