Meet Dr Meg Callan – Your Veterinary Mentor

Growing up in country Victoria, Dr Meg Callan’s passion for animals naturally led her to a career in veterinary medicine. After graduating from the University of Queensland in 2005, she gained extensive experience in treating diverse cases, from exotic pets to large animals. Her career highlights include advanced equine dentistry, wildlife rescue work, and international veterinary studies. Now, as the Veterinary Mentor for the New Graduate Program at Dr Paws, Meg shares her vast knowledge to support and guide new vets in their careers.

“This position allows me to share the wealth of practical experience acquired over my career and most importantly be the change I want to see. Our work as vets is exciting, fun and rewarding but it can also be challenging and having mentorship support goes a long way. I am proud to be working for Dr Adam Russell who has created this role to support and nurture our vets and clinics.” – Dr Meg
