Dr Annette Kelleher – Veterinarian

I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1984 and spent my first years as a Vet working in Cranbourne and Bundoora. I ventured overseas for a while and worked in England which was fun, after returning to Melbourne I was lucky to be able to move to North Eastern Victoria and have been working in this area for the last 16 years.

I live in Benalla on a small property with my husband and children, who are now attending University. We have numerous animals including a dog, 3 cats, 2 goats, guinea pigs, chooks, cows and lots of horses.

Our whole family is passionate about horse riding and we all like to compete in competitions around the area, particularly show jumping. We have had quite a few thoroughbred race horses that usually end up as our competition horses after they have finished their racing careers.

I work at the Ovens and Kiewa Vet clinic in Myrtleford on Fridays and mainly work with small animals.
