Meet the vets, nurses and support staff and learn why they love caring for your pets
If you’re planning to take your pet overseas, one of the most important steps is ensuring they meet international travel health requirements. Many countries require a rabies vaccination before your pet can enter.
At Dr Paws Altona North Veterinary Clinic, we can assist you with rabies vaccinations to help keep your pet safe and compliant with overseas travel regulations.
Not a routine vaccine – Rabies vaccinations are not commonly carried in Australia, so we do not keep stock on our shelves.
Advance notice required – Please contact our clinic well in advance of your travel date, as we need notice to order the vaccine in for your pet.
On advice of travel experts – It is best to organise rabies vaccination under the guidance of your travel agency or pet travel service to ensure you meet all entry requirements for your destination.
Export consults – If your pet requires an official export consultation (such as AQIS certification or additional paperwork), this will be at an additional cost.
Our friendly and experienced veterinary team is here to:
Provide rabies vaccinations safely and professionally.
Offer guidance on general pet health requirements for travel.
Support you through the process with compassion and care.
We work closely with pet owners to ensure their furry family members are protected and meet all travel regulations.
If you’re travelling overseas with your pet, don’t leave vaccinations to the last minute. Contact Dr Paws Altona North today to book a rabies vaccination appointment.
