Today we’re celebrating the incredible nurses who make our clinic what it is. 🫶
Our nursing team is made up of a pretty special bunch, each with their own quirks, passions and strengths, and all sharing the same love for our patients, their owners and the work we do. From supporting our vets and running consults, to comforting nervous pets, keeping things organised and somehow managing the chaos that comes with veterinary life… our nurses truly do it all. 🩺🐾
We thought we’d let you get to know the wonderful people behind the scrubs a little better…
🐶 Brittany is our resident German Shepherd enthusiast, fluent in dog and always ready with a treat (or several).
🌟 Alannah, our newest and youngest nurse, is a quick learner who throws herself into everything with so much enthusiasm.
🐾 Mariam has a natural way with both people and pets, is always ready to lend a hand and absolutely loves a good restraint challenge.
🐱 Jasmine is the one keeping our orders and stock under control, and is always the first to put her hand up when a kitten needs a foster mum!
🦘 Liz has a huge heart for wildlife and an amazing way with people, making everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome.
🐶 Courtney is our resident friendly face, devoted Bull Terrier lover and, quite possibly, the only person who gets genuinely excited about cleaning ears. 😂
✨ And Tash? Our practice manager, nurse, jack of all trades and official organiser of chaos. Somehow keeping the whole place moving while jumping in wherever she’s needed!
We’re incredibly lucky to have this amazing group of nurses supporting our vets, caring for our patients and looking after our community every single day. 💙
Thank you for all the compassion, knowledge, patience, laughs, late nights, messy moments and everything in between. Veterinary nursing is so much more than a job, and we’re so grateful for everything you bring to our team. 🥰
Happy Veterinary Nurse Day to our wonderful nurses! We couldn’t do it without you. 🫶🐾
We know how hard it can be to come across a sick, injured or vulnerable bird. Your first instinct may be to help — and we completely understand. ❤️
With bird flu cases increasing, we’re taking some extra precautions to protect our patients, our team and our wider community. For the time being, we’re unable to take in stray birds or avian wildlife at our clinic.
If you find a bird that needs help, please contact Wildlife Victoria before handling it. They can provide guidance on the safest way to help and what to do next.
If you are advised to handle the bird: 🧤 Please handle it with care and minimise contact. 🧼 Practise good hygiene and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. 🐾 Keep the bird safely away from pets and other animals.
If you’re unsure what to do, give our clinic a call. We’re always happy to help point you in the right direction. 💚

Thank you for helping us look after our community, our patients and our precious wildlife. 🐦🌿
Little Benji had a blast being honorary reception nurse!! Can’t say he was great at answering phones, or booking appointments… But he has great rapport building skills! 🏅🤭💗
Our team recently got hands on during @laurarvn.vest ‘s CPR workshop through @readyvetgo.com.au 🩺🐶🐱
Regular training helps us keep our skills sharp and ensures we’re ready to act quickly and confidently when our patients need us most. Because when it comes to emergencies, every second counts! ⏱️💪
A big thank you to Laura for her expertise, and to our amazing team for continuing to learn, practise and prepare- all in the name of providing the best possible care for our furry patients. 🐾💙
A little cuddle goes a long way! 🥰🐾 Our lovely nurse Mariam sharing some special snuggles with Tinkie. Moments like these make every day a little brighter! 💕
We love dogs. We love cats. We love pets of all shapes and sizes. We love people. We love educating, sharing knowledge and helping you feel confident in caring for your best mate.
Most of all, we love what we get to do every single day- caring for your pets as if they were our own. ❤️
So, whether you’ve been part of our clinic family for years or you’re just meeting us for the first time…
In all seriousness, one of the absolute best parts of what we do is the relationships we get to build with our clients (and, of course, their very important four-legged family members). ❤️
Some of you have been trusting us with your pets for years- through puppyhood, adulthood, illnesses, recoveries, new additions to the family and everything in between.
We get to know you, your pets, your stories. So if loving our clients and getting ridiculously attached to their pets is unprofessional… we’re probably guilty. 🥰🐶
