Dogs have a specialized "communication gland" in their ...paws. When dogs scratch the ground after peeing or pooping, they’re not just covering up — they’re actually leaving behind pheromones from glands in their feet to mark territory and communicate with other dogs.

So that dramatic little ground-scratching dance? It's not just flair — it's a smelly doggy status update. 🐾💃🕺
